In the never ending quest for better images...not only in composition and form, but in technical quality, just where, in God's green earth, am I (and a lot of you)?
I'm shooting a Nikon D300 with the following lenses: 10.5 f2.8, 17-55 f2.8, 85 f1.4G, and 70-200 f2.8 VRII.
The real question...the image quality that I can produce with this kit...can the critical (much less the average) consumer really see (or want) any difference?
So many say that the full frame D700 produces superior images...but I wonder within what context. I've not found a double blind study where full frame and crop frame images are compared based on perceived quality and customer satisfaction. What I'm trying to get to...there are advantages to full frame, but are they really only visible to the expert's eye, and of NO value at all to the eye of the average customer.
