Where do you buy your Chemicals and paper

B&W and Colour

?

I am just setting up a dark room in my shed, and want to print B&W and have a go at colour too.

I have seen everything except the colour print chemistry available at Nova Darkroom


Which brands do us use and where do you get it?

I'm sing Rollei chemicals (You can mix as much as you want) for Colour and Xtol for B/W, both have excellent long term storage properties.

I save up a few sheets of 5x4 and use both developers as one shot.

AG photographic is hard to beat for paper prices, they're even better than ebay.

Oh yeah - have done for ages


Tetenal you can get in tinsy kits or hooge amounts - great for dipping toes in the water to see if it's OK first.

Yes fine, but I think Matt has just become a dad (see note on website) so delivery may be a bit different than usual. I usually call in but usually it's next day or day after.

I also use AG, or alternatively Silverprint depending on what it is. I'm trying a new paper and developer combo atm of Neutol Print WA and Adox MCP lustre finish paper and it looks quite promising
