Where to buy a 40D?

Looking to buy a 40D body. Confused as to wether I should buy from somewhere like MPB where I would get a 6mths warranty of sorts, and are a reputable shop, buy private ie- ebay, where you hear so many rip off stories, or on here on the classifieds.
Any thoughts most welcome...:)

I just bought one from the classifieds on here and am very happy with it. Much better than taking your chances on eBay, IMO.
 
try eBay in Germany or the Netherlands they usually have quite a lot of 40Ds up online.
 
I just bought one boxed in mint condition with only 280 on the shutter count for a good price. I got it from ebay but it was from someone local so i was able to see it with my own eyes before handing over the cash.
I had been looking on here but found they generally went for a little more than they do on ebay, can be a risk though if your unable to buy it on person.
 
there seems to be a few come upon here,I don't know why but I used ebay for mine,it was before I found this site but luckly it was a good buy,I would buy from here.
 
I bought from here before Christmas, most (if not all) of the people who use the classified section on here are good genuine folk.

It's certainly worth keeping your eyes peeled on here for one.
