Where to buy a set of step up rings in UK?

I have loads of weird and wonderful filters knocking around my home studio as my father was a pro photographer himself from the 60s until about 10 years ago... however, they are of many various diameters so I really need a set of step up rings.

I've been looking around Ebay etc and it seems every seller I can find ships from China or the US. Any tips please on a reputable, UK-based seller who stocks a decent set of step up rings, preferrably in the 55-77mm range?

I've always got mime from eBay as they are by far the cheapest.

Every Ebay seller I can find selling these rings sells from China, even if it says 'UK based' - just take a look at their feedback and you can quickly see who is lying. Fine if you want to risk customs and an extortionate Royal Mail 'handling charge' and don't mind waiting for the shipping I guess...

Plenty of KOOD products on Amazon, under 10.00

I found them to be OK, just watch if you are using wide angle lenses and might need a 'low-profile' version.

I've bought plenty of accessories from Chinese sellers, takes about a week for delivery, never had any risk of customs or Royal Mail 'handling charges'.

I guess you've been lucky - if they decide to hit you for customs, you pay the customs charge plus Royal Mail charge a flat 6.99GBP on top for dealing with Customs. I've had small items double in price as a result of this! If you order regularly from abroad and have escaped this, you've been very fortunate!

I've never ordered any accessories over £18, so Customs Duty & Import VAT doesn't apply, no luck involved

(Warehouse Express also stock Kood)

Just avoid cheap ones as the theads can be rough and bind if you have a lens or filter with a particularly fine thread.

I might go with a Kood 52-77mm for now rather than a whole set of cheapies, as that will do for a fair few of my lenses. Thanks for the info guys!
