Where to buy battery covers??

Just been sorting my gear out, and I have seemed to have misplaced my battery cover for the 450D. Been looking everywhere I just can't think where I could have put it! :bang:
It's really annoying because you can't even turn on the camera without the battery cover and ebay doesn't seem to have any less than £10.
Even more annoying is that I'm going away on holiday in a couple of weeks, and I'd rather not have the battery grip on for the whole time!

So I come to you folk asking if you know of anywhere I can buy a battery door for cheap and can receive it in less than 2 weeks?

Or failing that, how can I make a DIY door/ or something so I don't have to use the grip.

Try ringing Canon at Elstree I doubt a new one would cost a fortune.

Have you checked the grip? most I've seen have a small holder for the battery door built-in.

And yeah. £15 for a battery cover is a little much? Plus it's from the USA, I'm leaving in 2 weeks

Ahhh omg. I found it lol.

Had it in one of my trouser's pocket from last week. Thought I took it out, and I checked (but checked the wrong pair of trousers).

Peace of mind.... haha. Going into the grip compartment now that I know there is one.
