So I have decided to get the Canon Pixma IP4700 but am not a little confused about where to buy the ink from.

I looked at amazon and lots of the inks say IP4700 compatible, even though they have canon written on them, these aren't official canon inks right? Like this one:

On the amazon page it says by Canon but is it official canon?

It looks very different price to this

which looks like an official canon product but says it is by Cartridge Point.

Man, confusing HELP!

Be careful buying "genuine" Canon stuff like ink on Amazon, unless it's from Amazon themselves or one of their partner companies assume it's fake

7dayshop supply genuine Canon inks. Still awaiting part of my order from early December to be delivered - still on backorder.

I get my Canon ink for my i865 from Tesco, the larger stores have quite a good stock, and after a while you start getting vouchers for £3 off. I've got to say that my printer is stil going strong after 5 years by putting genuine ink through it,it's lasted twice as long as my previous epson one an seen off 2 of my Dad's HP printers. Genuine ink all the way for me.
