Yes
They don't list any European sellers on the official website. Has anyone bought the newest models and if so from where?

Amazon usually have a few, sometimes through other traders mind you! It's where I got mine from! Only paid £150 each at the time too :D

Another vote for Calumet on Garscube Rd, although I've also bought them from Warehouse Express.

Yeah, I know, I just didn't realise they were that expensive. They must have gone up in price because last time I looked they were sitting around £120-£150. Might just go for cheap triggers instead... can't justify that cost at the moment.

you'll get Plus IIs for only £135!

No doubt that they're good, but unless you're going to get the use out of them.....

I might have to sell tricks for a few days... any lonely wealthy business ladies around?

how much?

You could try Kerso. I think he does the regular PWs, although they are the US spec ones (I think) and I guess technically illegal frequency for UK. But if you don't mind distrupting the local emergency services and aeroplanes crashing all around you, I guess they're fine.

The new Canon eTTL PWs are not without their problems - RF interference from the guns themselves cutting range. There's plenty about it on the PW site, and their rather unsatisfactory suggested solutions. Release of the Nikon iTTL version has been delayed, I'm not sure if that is related. If you want E-TTL, also consider Radio Poppers - not such a neat solution, but they do work and I think are cheaper, if you can get hold of them.

First paragraph made me chuckle.

I had read that the new firmware fixes the interference problems, hence why my interest in the PWs has resurfaced. Need to do more investimigation.

Please post any more info on that when you get it :)
