Helllllloooooooooo :D

I'm very excited! I have signed up to the WHF talkphotography meet. :woot: I've never been before!

What equipement (yes I know I need a camera ) is recommended? I have a 70-200mm f4 L and 1.4x extender. Will this be enough?

Also, is there a thread on here that is pictures from last years days?

Thank you in advance

Kind regards

Sarah

Got anything shorter? Do you KNOW how close you actually get? :D

Dont worry, your 70-200 & TC will be very adequate indeed and you will have a fabulous time

I have but I'm buying a 1D mk III at the end of May so the Tamron (if I'm right in saying) won't work!

I used a 24-70 & 70-200 nearly 50/50 with a few at 10-20

I've put a web album up here, there are a lot of duplicate / rubbish shots but it'll give you an idea of what goes on & the access to the cats

Mine were also done solely with the 70-200, shots from last August here:

You'll certainly be fine with your 70-200 and the 1.4 may come in handy for the odd shot if they are towards the back of the enclosure. May well be worth bringing a shorter lens as you do get very very close.

Taken with a 70-200 f/4L IS:

I used my 200-400 and 80-200, I wish I'd taken something that focussed a bit closer though as there was a lot of opportunities for close ups
