Which 24" monitor = to 24" Imac

OK I was/am going to buy a 24" iMAC. I have gotten my money transferred into my spending account from my saving account and was just about ready to go.

Now I'd read all the treads about you can get much more in windows machine than in a mac for the same price, but until I read Les McLean thread I had not realize how much more you got.

So I'm in a quandary now over what to get, now I don't want a mac V pc debate, but would like to know which 24" monitor to get that would be the same standard as the 24" mac screen so I can price that up and see what is left for the pc , and then make my mind up.

I guess I really mean as good or better than the mac at around the £650 mark
 
I'd say Dell 2407 AO4

I had one and sold it (along with my PC) and bought a 24" Refurb 3.06 GHZ imac from PCWorld Business, stuck a 1.5tb drive in it, and 4gb and i'm good to go.

Yes it's not as powerful as a PC, but it just works and is just so damn sexy ;)

Its also a lot neater and has a much smaller foot print (which was the big seller for me)
