Which bag? Suggestions please.

I need a bag to take a Canon 600D, a Sigma 18-250 lens, a Sigma 150-500 lens and a 10.1" tablet, along with a monopod and the usual extras like batteries, memory cards and my passport and mobile. I've been looking at something like the Tamrac Rally 5 or the Lowepro Fastpack 150 AW.

Both appear to almost match my needs but the Tamrac doesn't appear to have easy stowage for a monopod or be able to be waterproofed like the Lowepro, and the Lowepro might be a little big to carry onto a plane as my 'extra' bag: not the standard 'carry on', but my equivalent of Management's handbag (which is big enough to carry a week's supermarket shopping yet she still gets away with it!).

Is anyone aware of a bag, preferably either waterproof or capable of being waterproofed in the Lowepro style (it will be going with me to Antarctica), that is small enough to get onto a plane as my second bag, and which will carry all that I need and yet not cost the proverbial arm and leg?

Look at either the Lowepro Vertex range or the Lowepro Pro Runner.

I've never had trouble getting my Lowepro 250 onto a plane as carry-on luggage...even when flying smaller commuter jets. Lowepro is expensive, though.

@hunter20ga - I'm looking to get the bag onto flights as my second cabin bag: the equivalent of the often allowed 'laptop bag' or my wife's handbag in addition to my 'usual' carry-on bag.
