Which bag?

Yes
I've got too much stuff now to keep shoving it all in my old backpack.

I'd like a replacement which is still normal backpack shaped/sized, and with two shoulder straps.

Priorities:
Should take Normal sized DLSR plus about 4 lenses (one is ultra wide angle with quite large hood, and one is 70-300mm type... Others not too big)
Should take 13" laptop. I don't carry it around that often, but when I do, I want it to be well protected from bending or other forces.
Good space for other bits and bobs (filters, cables, spare memory cards, etc.)
And also a small extra compartment that I can use for something like a spare body, a film camera, or even my lunch :)

If possible, it should be easily openable without having to sit it on the ground. Some of the bags I've seen would drop their contents if opened while held upright by their straps in the air!

So far the one that looks OK is the Lowepro fastpack 250. Not too expensive either, at £50. But I'm not convinced it would comfortably fit lenses like my UWA with very wide hood and the 70-300mm.

Any other options around that price?

i have the fastpack 250 which i got from jessops last week for £49.99, it holds my gripped d90, 18-105vr, 50 1.8, tamron 11-18, tamron 90 macro, sigma 70-200 2.8 and sb400 flash all in the bottom compartment, i then have my 11" notebook in the laptop compartment and the top compartment can hold extras or packed lunch, jacket ect. i also have my lens cleaning fluid, microfibre and rocket blower in the extra pocket

very good bag for the price

Hmm sounds perfect!

No trouble getting the 11-18 or 70-200 in?
