You tend to get a shallower DOF with a full frame camera (if that's what you're going for), so look at the 1Ds and 5D range.
Then again it depends on what you mean by 'best'.

Full frame regarded as the professionals choice. However, the crop bodies will produce amazing photos with the right glass on the front. Rather than buying a 5d1 or 2 i invested in a couple of good quality lenses and saw a huge improvement in my general image quality
