Which camera should i get?!? :S

Okay I'm really not great at judging cameras and have no idea which one to choose
The two I'm deciding on are panasonic fz35 and Fuji finepix s2800. I'm basing my decision on the best quality so if anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be great
Also if you know any other great image quality cameras within price range of 250 and below please suggest

I'd definitely look at 2nd hand kit if I was given a 250 budget as it will not get much in the way of decent new kit.

As above second hand is definitely your best bet, have a look through the for sale section on here for starters.
