Which camera to ship out? D7000 or D300?

Planning to go FF and one of these camera will need to ship out to fund a used D700.

Video function is nice but is not priority to decide which one to sell. I can always buy a used D5100 for video feature.

If you keep the d300, the controls etc will basically be identical which might be an advantage.

Keep the D300 - it shares the same batteries and grip which can be handy.

I was thinking about that as well, plus the D7000 will get me more money in return then selling the D300.

Although the D7000 handles low light shots better than the D300 due to it's newer/better sensor that won't matter as the D700 does everything better than the D7000.

That'd be a really nice pair of DSLR's to own - D700 & D300

The only reason I could see for keeping the D7000 would be to have a lighter, easier to carry body, depending on the shooting you do. Otherwise, the D300 serves as an action camera better than the D7000, and is good at wildlife, etc.
