Im sure this has been asked before but im going to ask anyway. Which colour space is best to use, Adobe RBG or sRGB? I have alsways been told to work with Adobe RGB, setting both my camera and Photoshop to use the Adobe RGB colour space. However, recently i have been told that sRGB is the way forward. The majority of the work i display, is on the web but i do occasionally print my images for my portfolio and as i am working on a new portfolio will be doing a bit more printing in the near future.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Shoot in RAW, in Adobe.
Convert from RAW to TIFF in Adobe.
Save processed file in adobe.

Create websized version converted to sRGB.

This isn't for image / colour quality. This is me playing the 'just incase' game with the widest parameters.
TBH You may be better in sRGB, dependant on what you are using the image for...I can't tell the difference, and I'm sure the majority of people wont need / utilise the difference anyway.

Marcel and Dinorock, what do you guys do when it comes to printing? Are you using a printer (which one?) with a colour profile large enough to support AdobeRGB?

If it helps to answer my original question, i am use my own printer, an Epson r2880 which does have a large enough profile to support Adobe RGB

Then the other thing to consider is do your shots need the extra saturation AdobeRGB provides? If no then use sRGB as you'll just be wasting tonal bandwidth on values the image isn't use and risk banding as a result.
