I'm going camping soon on the isle of Arran, with a friend. We're making a video documentary but I'd also love to have a decent digital compact (like, actually, compact) camera. Normal specs: High zoom, 10+ mp, f/2.8 or less etc.
Obviously, something like the Canon G10 or G11 would be great but they're just too clumpy for me. I don't want a camera that's known for being small, because then you're paying for the small-ness - just one that nicely fits in a pocket. I'd want to use the camera after the holiday as well, as a good camera for various purposes.
So, I've got a maximum of £350 to get a small-ish compact camera... Any thoughts?
