Which compact?

Need to recommend for a friend abroad. They have about £150-£200 to spend and that needs to be "average street price", because that's probably what they'll pay (UK special offers not needed).

Most important attribute needed is good close-up/macro ability.

Small-ish, but mega-ultra-slim not essential.

Any suggestions?
