which d300 grip?

gf is thinking of getting me a non oem grip for my d300 for christmas

i've had a hunt around in the search but basically various recommendations and sellers on ebay have left me a bit perplexed so if anyone can recommend one that is solid and does what it says on the tin and not stooooopedly expensive

and can provide a link to the same item they're recommending to buy that'd be great

I have a Phottix one on my D300 and a Meike one on my D700, I think they are made in the same factory.........

If you want the enel4 you will need one of these:

The enel4 variants are available form 7day shop at about £22 i think.

it's the same as the one linked above. You can get a different style of en-el4 charger for £25 on ebay, which is fine too, but I do like the look of that one...but not worth double the money imo.

Yep, looked at that thread before I bought thanks bud.

Oddly, the Phottix grip I have on my D300 has the big all in one Kosmo battery, it came with a charger ,12 and 240 volt, saving buying a charger at the time, they don`t seem to be available anymore.......:shrug:

Think mine was from LinkDelight, not the quickest delivery but great quality, cant see the Nikon one being much better that that!
