Which DSLR for video

I am thinking of buying a canon DSLR to add small video clips to enhance my wedding photography. The 5D Mk2 is very expensive and I wonder if any of the other canons offer similar quality video at a much lower price.I would need one which would support an external Microphone. I already use the 5D Mk1 for still photos.

Would it not be better selling the 5D you have and putting the extra cash on to it so you can afford the mk2?

5D MKII but if you can't have that then an A55?
