Dear all,
I'd appreciate some advice on which film scanner I should buy...
I have hundreds of 35mm film strips that I want to convert into digital files, and since it will be a mammoth, never-to-be-repeated task, I want to buy a scanner that will give me excellent results. I am based in the UK and I am looking to spend around £200 ($350ish). I would pay more if it meant getting a much better product, though.
Models that I have looked at so far are the CanoScan 8800F and the CanoScan LiDE 700F.
Would anyone recommend one over the other? The 8800F seems to have a better specification - is it really much better than the 700F for my needs? And does anyone have any other recommendations?
Your advice will be very gratefully received.
