Which filters to buy with set budget

Hi,

I'm planning to treat myself some filters for xmas but unsure which one to buy first.

I've got my eyes set on some Cokin filters P series.

Adapter ring and holder is not too much of a problem because i've found this on ebay:

£12.99 for a wide range of adapter ring size an holder which is more than enough i need for my lenses.

Now the question is which filters to buy first?

I've set my budget around £80-100, consider £12.99 is use on the ring and holder.

I was thinking about ND Grad, ND, Grad Blue and Grad Orange. I want to use it to do landscape shots and waterfall/water etc.

I guess i can leave the blue and orange in the future but full ND or Grad ND?

2/4/8 as well .....
 
one thing to bear in mind, if your putting the holder on a wide angle lens make sure the lens doesnt see it wide open. You can get thinner filter holders for wide angle lenses if you need one.
 
i using it on my Nikon 28-70 f2.8 so no problem with that.

I can blow the money on a either a ND Grad filters kit that give me ND2, 4 and 8 or the ND plain filters kit ND2, 4, 8

I'm tempting to get the Cokin Full ND Neutral Density Filter kit (ND 2, 4, and 8) to start off, then get the grad in the future.
