Which Flash choice of 3

Hi all

I.m quite new to this game, have just got myself a EOS 600D and loving it.

I'm thinking of getting a flash something I can use on and off camera but am unsure which one to get out of the 3 below.

Canon 320EX
Canon 430EX II
Metz 50 AF-1

All around the same price range.

I'm not really in to portraits but more landscapes and general stuff..

Am just getting to grips with flash photography, having purchased a Canon 7d then went for the 430 ex speedlite. Works well with the remote flash control in the 7D but have since purchased a 580ex. Easier to use with a host of features including ability to ask as a master flash.
What I am trying to say is that the 580ex is worth the extra and will prove to be more versitile in the long run.

If you are new to flash photography consider buying Syl Arena book Speedliters Handbook, it is one of the best photo books I have purchased giving real practical advice on how to use a flash, (he too will say buy the 580!)

Don't know anything about Metz, but canon 430EX II is a very good piece of kit. It has bigger GN then 320EX, which gives you better range. It also has better zoom range 24-105mm + 14mm UWA defuser.

Of course 580EX II is still better, but imo 430EX II is just all right for the newbie. I use it with my 50/1.8 lens for indoor work and pictures are fantastic. Just make sure you bounce it off a white ceiling or a wall.
