Which foam? (for packing)

I've got a case that i want to put some camera equipment in for sticking in the boot and transporting

Essentially i'm looking for the peli effect where there's a slot for each item

Anyone know of what foam and anywhere to get it from?
Also the best way to chop the holes out without it looking like i'm intending to use it in a student slasher movie?

Don't know of a supplier, but suggest you look for closed cell foam as it will not soak up water or dampness. If it gets wet you can wipe it dry.
Camping etc shops sell rolls of it to lie on. About 1 cm thick. You could always build up layers to get the depth you need.

i got some through them, its identical to the stuff that comes in cases (apart from the peli pick and pluck stuff obv)
