Which Lens Fits Which?

Hi everyone,

After a family party last night I found out I have about 3 SLR bodies and multiple lenses coming to me from my Grandad! He remembered one was Minolta (bingo, I have a Sony!) but couldn't remember the rest.
I know that Minolta lenses fit Sony, is this every lens?
Also, what other makes can fit old lenses on, if any?

You usually lose all functions though. With a few exceptions it's generally not a practical proposition.

The only Minolta lenses that will work fully on a Sony DSLR body are the Minolta AF fit ones....

If it's not AF fit, it'll be manual focus only, and you'll need an adaptor.
