Which lens to fill the gap

Hi, I use a nikon d300 with a sigma 10-20 and a nikon 28-70. What lens would you recommend to cover the gap between 20mm and 28mm.

Do you actually need that? I'm sure you can live without it ...... use your foot to zoom in that 8mm if needed.

probably prime lens or telezoom maybe useful if you into that sort of thing.

I think a 35mm prime would be decent if you not already got it.

Not sure you need it though.

I use the tokina 11-16, 35mm, 50mm 105mm just need to move more forward n backwards.

Only thing I find is time to swap lenses

Also consider the 30mm f1.4 sigma...

Between 20mm to 28mm I would zoom with my feet. Much cheaper than a new lens but then buying a new lens to use is a nice feeling.

You don't zoom with your feet; you dolly with your feet, zoom with a lens

If you really need to cover the gap a "standard zoom" for a cropped camera would be the choice; something like a 17 or 18mm to 55 or 70

You know what? 18-70 'kit' lens.

Seriously. It's cheap, with great optics and covers such a useful range - it's the perfect backup do-it-all lens! Have it in your bag and it's always there when/if you need it!
