Yes
Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a new lens with 1 main purpose for the lens. I do detailing as a part time business at the moment, so take lots of photo's during the work on the car, after pics etc etc. I'm finding sometimes that i can't get the whole car in the shot using my 18-55 standard lens.

Would a Sigma/Canon/Tokina 10-20, 10-22 or 12-24 be the best lens for this situation?

I'm often stuck in a double garage, or sometimes single garage and it's awkward to get good shots.

Thanks in advance

Yes. Any of them will get the job done for you. The Canon 10-22 is probably the best of the bunch; the Sigma 10-20 is the cheapest.

I was hoping i'd get a reply from you Stewart

I've got a car on the weekend of 9th May and am VERY tempted to hire the Canon you have in stock, to see how i get on and whether i get the results i'm after. ;)

If i hired it from you, am i right in thinking it's around £33 fully inclusive for 7 days? All i pay on top is the delivery back to you extra?

I've replied to this via PM.

Would thte 17-50 be much different to my 18-55 though?
Not in the ways you need. It's a lot sharper, and it's faster (f/2.8), but what you need is something wider.
