Hi Allan,
I buy my film from silverprint but there is a minimum order of £25. There is also Ag photographic but they don't stock as much 4x5, sheet film sometimes pops up on ebay for good prices
As for lens I am not really sure but I am using a 135mm and I find it perfect for what I like to do. This might be a better place to get some answers as they really know their stuff LFPF
At the moment I use a Super Angulon 90/5.6 or a 210/5.6 (can't remeber the model). I also have a giant 360/6.8 but that is a beast to carry around.
I do like 135 as a focal length, it's just wider than "normal" which I like, but I still haven't got around to buying one.
I would look at what you use most in 35mm landscape and convert to LF length:
24mm = 90mm
35mm = 105mm
45ish = 135mm
50mm = 150
70mm = 175ish
85-90mm = 210mm
Those are my conversions. They may be technically wrong (?) but as the formats are different aspect ratio these are roughly what they look like to me. I'm looking for a nice 135 and I will then have pretty much everything I need
