i am taking pictures of flowers at the moment and im using a measly 55-200mm lens (i know, but i have to start somewhere:baby:), and need a macro lens. im not buying just yet but i could do with knowing what i need. so far ive seen

tamron 90mm
sigma 105mm

but i was thinking, if i wanted to experiment with different angles like underneath shots of the flower:thinking: then it would need to be wider, so what do i do? do i have to buy seperate macro lenses? please help me.:bang:

I'm going for the Tamron myself. Have read very good things (in reviews) and on here about both of the lenses you mention so I doubt you would go wrong with either.

Good luck with the purchase!

Hi,
I use the above, really great lens. You can be a little further away......and the 2.8 gives good performance in low light or bokeh in good light!
