Which Macro tubes

I have been looking at a set of second hand KENKO tubes as I am told they are the best......but,

As a complete novice to macro tubes is there any equivalent? are they the best and does anyone have any experience of the "cheaper" autofocus rings available on the dreaded fleabay?

I brought a set last year and have found them spot on. I did think about a cheaper set but decided against them as everyone who had the kenko tubes were very pleased with them, while some people who had the cheaper ones wished they had spent more for the kenko's

work well... apart from I need a portable lighting to see when f#s get high

Yes they do, assuming you buy the correct ones.
