After giving it some thought I asked myself 'do I really need a dedicated macro lens'
Answer...No, not really.
What definitely made my mind up for me was when I picked up a 'new' set of Kenko Teleplus DG Extension Tubes for Nikon AF for just £40.
Superb quality, I just could'nt believe my luck.
I have now ordered a 1.8 Nikkor Niffty Fifty to go with them.
All a bit cheaper than either Micro Nikkor and should suit the macro stuff that I intend do.
