hi all, need your help resently bought a d90 with 55-200 what would compliment this lens im on a budget of £250. cheers john

im guessing you need a wide angle lens so the 18-55mm VR should be less than £100 im guessing second hand and new i think it wont be much more. also consider getting a 50mm f1.8 so you can experiment with wide aperture.

what about accessories such as bag and tripod?

oh and one last thing what do you want to shoot? the 18-55mm, 55-200mm and the 50mm will do for most stuff but if you really want to excel in a certain area the lenses mentioned can be a let down.

Hi John,

Can't argue with the advice you've had so far but thought I'd just put in a vote for selling your 55-200 and buying an 18-200 and 50mm f/1.8 - less lens changing, less to carry :)

thats is another way to go, but ill prob have 18 55 on most of the time, the 200 also makes it more bulky. thanks for your help off to corsica on sunday so best get a move on. ;)
