No
d7000 or d3200
looking at both cameras and cannot make my mind up what one to buy.
what would you buy and why ???

cheers grahame

I didn't think they were even comparable... Must have a closer look at the 3200...

If they're around the same price(?) I'd go for the 7000 - a camera you can grow into, rather than one you'd grow out of.. ;)

You have an D300 ?, why an D7000 or D3200 :)

looking for somthing a little lighter i like the 3200 as it has video / expeed 3
also 24mp which will be good for cropping in very close without loosing to many pixels or having to buy long reach lens {more weight }
the d300 is getting long in the tooth now so prefer somthing more cutting edge technology but a lot lighter :)

Although no doubt the D3200 is a great camera (I had a D3100), I think coming from the D300 you may find the AF system/control and the viewfinder rather difficult to adjust to. The D7000 is a great camera and is comparatively light and compact, plus it has great AF and an excellent viewfinder.

Obviously there is a ton of other differences, but I personally have found those two mentioned above the most frustrating on entry level bodies. IQ will be excellent on both of course.
