Which package to get??

I am in the market for a new camera as I think the d70 is getting a wee bit old and have seen these packages so if you where going to get one which one would it be??

Have you thought about the 18-200VR instead of the 70-300? Of course if you actually need the 300mm end then it's not for you...

Having said that, there's a 2nd hand 70-300 in the for sale section at the moment (and no, it's not mine) for £250 iirc

Assuming you have lenses and other accessories with your d70 - it would make sense to stay with Nikon - as a total change of system costs more!!

Also, why do you want to upgrade - not sure the d80 offers much more over your existing camera. So again assuming you have a decent set of lenses and the reasons are right - maybe a d200 or even d300 would suit you better?

Neither of those choices are going to satisfy you if you think the D70 isn't up to it, as Dalton says consider a proper upgrade if you really must spend money, or some decent glass.
