Which scanner?

I need a little help, I need to get a scanner for the end of next week to scan nearly 100 old family photos. So they can be made in to a photo book for a golden wedding present.

But which scanner to get, it will be been used with a macbook and if all goes well there may be 3-400 photos to scan. Not sure to get a canon or epson any help would be great, as I will have to order it on Monday. £200 is the max so the better half says. :thumbs: :thankyou:
 
Epson perfection V600 would be on my list. I have the V500 and it's perfect for the job and was a reasonable price.
 
Epson was my thinking- when I looked I thought they were the best out of the flatbeds. Preferred them to a dedicated negative scanner due to the flexibility. My V500 was £125 which I thought was great but they did increase in price before being replaced. I would imagine the 600 is as good if not better. It may be that Canon have caught up now but you wouldn't go wrong with an Epson.
