Which Sigma lens

Hi all

Been doing my research on sigma zoom lenes, the 120-400 and the 150-500 both lenses have good reports but cant make up my mind which will be the best lens to buy in terms of sharpness at full zoom, want to get closer to my wildlife subjects with the best quality results, these lenses are at the top end of my budget so any advise would be great.

At full zoom I found the sigma awful at Mid-zoom it was excellent needless to say I sent the 150-500 back

I have the 150-500 and have been well pleased with it, both straight as 150-500 and with a 1.4 managed a nice curlew shot with the 1.4 a couple of days ago, I haven't uploaded it yet but this is at 500.
