Which Sigma ?

Hi there
just a quickie as not supposed to be on here whilst at work!

Got my heart set on a 150-500 OS Nikon fit but now wondering if a 120-400 OS would be a better option
Use will be mainly wildlife - local safari parks & Kenya in sept plus motorcycle racing where I struggle to get to the best vantage points as not a pro
Camera is D80
Any advise on which would be best way to go much appreciated

Well for wildlife focal length is usually king so the longer the better as a rule, particularly where keeping a distance from erm...dangerous animals , I've been well pleased with my 150-500

Gonna stick with the 150-500mm now I've looked round past threads

If this is your first super telephoto, it will take time to perfect your technique to get the best of it.

If your off on safari with it I strongly advise you to get a UV filter at the least. Some sort of polarizing filter would be useful too.
