Which size hitech filter fits in cokin p series holder? (85,100,150)

Hi - which size hitech filters will work with a cokin p series holder? The reason i ask is that i read that for grad nd it's good to have a slightly wider filter so you have something to hold on to so you can move the filter up and down to fit with your composition.

.......fit the P holder although they are a teeny bit stiff in my experience to move up and down but that's not a bad thing. Much prefer them to Cokin filters too.

85 refers to the width. If you want 'bigger' filters (what's your biggest lens thread) you will need to go wider than P series holder.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am wondering if I am better off just getting the hitech holder... my lens is 77mm btw

Can't comment on the hitech holder - I just bought the hitech grads as I already had the cokin holder and the slim cokin holder for wide angle lenses.

I use both the Cokin P and Cokin p wide holders, for Hitech 85mm grads, and as stated in previous thread they are a wee bit tight, but it is not a major problem. The Hitech holders are a lot more expensive.
