Which Studio Lighting Kit

I want to buy a studio lighting kit for portraits and still life, never done studio work before so i am a bit clueless about the lighting set up.

To get me started I want a basic kit and at this stage dont want to spend a fortune.

Has anyone got any recomendations about what kit to go for? preferably something under £500 :puke:
