WHICH TELEPHOTO LENS TO CHOOSE ?

Im trying to get back into some photography again, ive just sent for a Nikon D5200 Camera,I have some lens ,mostly kit lens from my previous Nikon camera.
I would like to try some wild life photography , I would like to say that i would class myself as a learner still,so, with that in mind ,what Telephoto Lens would you
recommened that i should go for? Nothing too expensive ,and , probaly 70-300 range ? Im told that Tamron and Sigma ,do compatible lens , at reasonable prices.
Also ,Nikon own lens . All help would be appreciated.

Sigma 150-600 Contemporary.

I used to have one and it was brilliant.

Reasonable price too.

The Nikon 70-300 AF-P lens is supposedly very fast and with excellent image quality .... not too expensive either.

About £500 used for the sigma 150-600. Well worth it. Don’t bother with 300mm zooms. Not long enough for a lot of things and usually not great quality At the longest end.
