I have a Manfrotto 190PRO tripod and am looking for a good head like the 229-3D Pro head. Anyone any experience of this head for both portrait and landscape shots. I have the joystick type and find it difficult to work in portrait mode with a heavy camera and lens as it keeps slipping and tilting unless the friction wheel is really tight and this makes it hard to release. merv
