Which wide prime?

Hi folks.
I have a 70-200L, a 50mm f1.8 and want to add a wide prime. I am looking at the EF 24mm f2.8 and the EF 20mm f2.8 USM, they will be on a 5D body, mostly for use in UE light painting and just having fun with a funky perspective which I quite like.

Has anyone got any comparison shots? What would your preference be if it was you buying?

I tried a 24mm f/2.8 on a crop and wasnt impressed. Not as sharp particually in the corners, as I was expecting which will be more pronounced on FF. Its not that ast either.

I bought the 35mm f/2 which was FAR better optically (and still just classed as a 'wide' lens on FF!).

Not tried the EF 20mm but again its not that fast for a prime. Cant help but think you might be better off with a f/2.8 zoom than either the 20mm or 28mm prime?
