Not buntings I dont think though. I will check up but they dont have bunting-like beaks.

That's the one, I suspected they weren't Buntings but knew someone would put me right, and as usual it's a woman :p

Funnily enough my dad said pretty much the same thing, " why didn't you try and get round the other side of them, they don't fly far " .... " eh, well dad it was 3 feet deep in heather and they were faster than me" :D

Like us, I don't think they liked to into the sun as it was pretty strong this mornin, which is a pity as I like to look a bird in the eye when capturing it
