I would just like to say a BIG thank you to Chris, Ingrid, Gary and his wife, Sue, Mike and his wife, Martin and Tezz and Tim (car broke down outside zoo gates) for making it a great day.

I will be posting some shots later as I haven't started ploughing through them yet.

Cracking shot Gary, I think the ears are brilliant.

Nice sets guys (y)
I love the deer in the water shots Mike (y)

And I hate you Martin :p
I misses the double gob and the "head butt" too!
Nicely done (y)

Ingrid, thats a cracking shot and perfectly captured too (y)

Be kind Mike, after your opening comment :p7

Not done the drive through for a long time now, the light on the deer in the lake is superb.

Martin you really are showing off now, you spent far too much time with that snake person, learning his bad habits :p
Nice set though (y)

just making sure your reading the whole post

Best I did on the Lion's gob shot.
Unfortunately I was in the wrong position :(

Wrong angle scratched to hell glass.
Ergo, the reflections were a nightmare :(

Here's a few from Yesterday.

1.
Morning TP'ers....

2.
Blimey, that lot look manky...food poisoning if ever I saw it.

3.
You've got your photo's now bugger off.

4.
You sad gits.

5.
Love you mum.

6.
Double Gob Shot

Love the 'head butt' as Chris calls it (y)

Hi Mike, those lake shots look so natural, #2 looks like there's a crocodile just about to strike at the deer at the back.

Very nice set Mike. Look forward to seeing some more.

Thanks Ingrid, I got my bad habits from both of you, in photo taking and commenting on the forum. :D

Some gorgeous images here...looks like you all had a great day!

Those gob shots ain't bad Chris considering the state of the glass. Like 'em.

Thanks Ruth.

It was a 'great' day. Great zoo, great company and great weather. Couldn't ask for more.

Glad you like the images.

Cheers Gary, remind me to do you a FAVOUR!.:p

Shame you didn't come Clive, you probably would have had a better day than at the football.:D

Watching paint dry would be more exciting than my footy team at the moment!!

Well I was stood in the lion viewing point with these two dodgy looking blokes (AFC & Cobra) and the male lion spotted us

First he had a sneaky look licked his lips

Then he curled his lips and giggled

The he threw his head back and laughed, obviously thought they were too old and tough even for his pride

Cheers Ruth, these things are "open house" you know ;)

Thanks Martin (y)

By the way Chris how's your nuts today?
Not so bad considering that someone tried very hard to "modify" them with a
siggy 150-500 (more than once) !

A few more
Don't tell Chris but Nikons rool
Pah! you got lucky :p
Nice set Ingrid (y)

Nicely done on the "feeding shots" Gary (y)
Nice set, I love the Chimp pose and the deer at sunset particularly (y)

(y) The zebra is lovely and that second Penguin is just

Nice one Gary, even if you do use a canon :p

As has been said the Zebra shot is a blinder 10/10.

The deer and chaffinch in the late sun are beautiful.

Another nice set Gary.

Cheers all.

It was a great day so to come out with some good shots made it better. The standard you guys set was pretty high and these 11 came out of over 300 shots.

Red panda and cats have a few good shots but the missus has called time on me using the laptop (posting from my phone now!) so they will have to wait...
