White Crowned Sparrows

Quite a few of these little critters here in BC. I was hoping to find some Eagles today but they were a no show, maybe tomorrow. Anyway, these lovely little guys kept me busy this afternoon.

Light was rather harsh, we came to Canada with layered clothing & wet weather gear and walked into a heatwave, breaking records for most places in BC.

I prefer the first and last images, the back shot does nothing for me. I think I would crop No.1 a bit to show more detail on the sparrow. Nice poses in 1 and 3 as well. Not keen on the harsh lighting, the blown whites in the perches and in some small areas of the birds do distract a bit. Nice captures though.
