At least... that's what I think it is!

C&C would be appreciated, the shots aren't as good as I'd like but not sure how to improve. PP was colour balance (a purple hue), slight sharpening and contrast and brightness adjusting. Handheld - not that I could've got a tripod close enough anyway! Taken on my Sigma 70mm macro.


1: 1/60s - f/13 - ISO 1000 (was trying to get all in focus hence f13, not sure if I did the right thing?) - No flash, had to brighten a fair amount with PP

2: 1/200s - f/13 - ISO 1000 - flash (built in)

3: 1/200s - f/13 - ISO 1000 - flash (built in)

I may be able to take more pictures with any suggestions, as mothy seems content to sleep there for now!

Really nice shots. They look a bit overexposed though and it's a pity about the background colour but I suppose there is nothing you can do about that.

Nope that's my bedroom wall colour, I like it for bedroom walls but uhh.. not great for moths!

I couldn't seem to get her just right, most annoying, think it was the light and the black and white, pain really

Hmm reminded me to go turn her out though, don't want her stuck inside too long!
