A Male Whitethroat (Thanks Dave), they were singing from the low trees and on the wing. Not sure if they do but according to my bird book one of the differences is that the Lesser Whitethroat sing on the wing.

Sorry Both soft - I was fine tuning the AF focusing and forgot to set it back to -12 (These are at -8) :bang:
Really shows in the background leaves in No2.

Seems that first the Robin was usurped by Red Kites, now the Red Kites have been usurped by Whitethroats :LOL:

Swallows and Swifts next :thinking:

Just for you Ken a Robin and a Wren (Because I know you are a fan of back-lit shots :LOL:, reminds me must get down to the coast for seaside birds.)
