Thanks guys, this was taken at Mzima springs in Kenya, its a complex of large spring water pools, with a good population of crocs and hippo's, It actually provides Mombasa in kenya with its drinking water..

I always think of Reggie Perrin when I see Hippos.He used to envisage one every time his Mother in-law was mentioned.

Cracking shot, it really benefits from being taken at eye level with the hippos.

Lovely shot -I like the low viewpoint. Hippos kill more people in Africa each year than any other species, so that look isn't bluff!
