Who needs expensive gear?

This was taken by my daughter some 2-3 years ago, she would be about 9 years at the time.

Taken with a Fuji Finepix we bought on holiday for £80 as we had forgotten to pack the camera.

Pretty good methinks.

It look fine to me. The likelyhood is that it's just a tired winter migrant.

Goldcrests like titmice are notorious for allowing you to get close to them.

You sure don't see them sitting on house bricks very often either. I normally hear them but can never see them.

It is an excellent shot from a budding photographer. (I bet she wants a D300 now!)

Yep, it flew into our front window so it was a bit stunned! We picked it up
and placed it there to recover.
