yeah my 200 with the grip on feels bigger :thumbs:
that one belongs to a buddy of mine & he was kind enough to let me have a play with it :naughty:
i actually used 3 of his lenses all day too :naughty:

i might look like the person outside the pub or club telling you that you can't come in, but i'm more like the person who's already in there having it large :lol:
 
I'm a polar opposite, even the 450D looked big on me!
 
o.O You must have hands the size of grapes... with little bendy cocktail stick-like fingers :D

I can barely fit three fingers onto the 450D... As a result, the MB-D10 is an absolute must for me.
 
I do have small hands, well, small everything really. (Hey, quiet at the back!)

It's just not even funny when I am holding the 1Ds - I can practically hide behind it.
 
And I thought I had big hands!

Either way I find the 400D fine for me, couple of fingers dangling off but comfy. Smaller also means lighter and easier to carry. :p
 
I thought my 300d was comfortable. Then I got a 40d. Then my 40d got a grip. Now its comfortable!

Ah - that's the thing, and the reason why I won't swap the 450D for another bigger body - it's light and portable, and great for on the hill. I might be tempted to get another body as well, but I wouldn't be chopping the 450D in against the new one.
 
hey come on it was only the little 14-24 f2.8 :lol:

that thing was W-I-D-E on full frame!
i had to be careful my toes weren't in the shot :lol:
 
I find it too wide for most things (hence the post in 'what lens do you use least' thread)...
17-35mm FTW!
 
the guy who owns it has to use it for 1 shot (sometimes more, not often) at every meeting he covers. he uses it to get a shot of the track from the drivers stand wihich would be pretty much impossible with anything other than a UWA ;)
its all about tailoring your kit for what you need to use it for i guess
you pro's know that already anyway :thumbs:
 
All that money for one shot per job...lol
'tis a nice lens though...
 
well he does like to stick it in peoples faces for some extreme closeups too :nuts:

plus the reports he does he doesn't get paid to do them!
he does it because he likes it!
he sometimes gets expenses paid for logo insertion & watermarking etc but its pretty much all a labour of love
