Whole website redesign - Please help

I don't think white is a good background for displaying photographs online, it's too bright, grey is good, black is good too but old hat.

ETA: please ignore random white lines at the edge of the porsche photo..

Sorry, prefer the original.

Original could be improved by removing 'welcome to gfwilliams...' and putting the shop to the top menu bar.

I also expect to find contact details in the contact tab, not an about page with a further link to the real contact page.

autoviewer comes with lightroom, I just embedded it into my website

I have just re-designed my old design to make it look better - now uploaded to the original
